Rev. Yanchy Lacska and his wife, Wendy, live in a beautiful
wooded setting in Hudson Wisconsin. Formally educated in both psychology and
theology, he is a Board Certified Professional Counselor through the American
Psychotherapy Association. Yanchy has worked as an educator,
psychotherapist, and hospital chaplain, as well as an adjunct professor in the
graduate school at Hamline University in St. Paul Minnesota and at Northwestern
Health Sciences University in Bloomington Minnesota. Team teaching with Wendy,
they have twice been guest lecturers at the Auckland College of Education in
New Zealand and have presented at workshops throughout the country.
Additionally, for the past 30 years, Yanchy has been a
student and teacher of qigong, tai chi and the Daoist philosophy on which they
are based, He has studied with several world-renowned masters.
His experience and education has led Yanchy to his life's
purpose and bliss ~ offering to others that which he feels called to do ~
counseling, leading retreats and workshops, and creating and facilitating
spiritual experiences to help people heal and grow so they can better seek and
celebrate the Divine in their lives.
