Amma Teri+ is a professed member and ordained priest of the Lindisfarne Community. She is a board certified clinical chaplain and pastoral counselor, and a clinical fellow in hospice and palliative care through the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy. She is also a licensed attorney, a retired Army officer, and a grandmother. She serves as a volunteer hospital, hospice, and veteran’s organization chaplain, and is also involved in social justice advocacy. She enjoys writing, and has contributed meditations and prayers to several Christian publications. She holds a J.D. from The Catholic University of America, a B.S. from The University of Maryland, and a D.Min. and M.Div. from Global Ministries University, where she currently serves as a member of the faculty. She and her wife share a home in Northern Virginia with family, pets, and a pair of adopted donkeys. They enjoy hiking on the nearby Appalachian Trail.
