Brother Lawrence A. Whitney, PhD, LC+

Brother Larry is professed and a priest in the Lindisfarne Community. He is a Leading Edge Fellow with the American Council of Learned Societies, working on a project at the National Museum of American History (Smithsonian Institution) researching issues of equity in Covid-19 vaccine trials and distribution. He also teaches philosophy and religious studies at Curry College, serves as chair of board of directors of Convergence, Inc., and is the President of the North American Paul Tillich Society and of the Women's Interfaith Institute. He previously served for fourteen years as University Chaplain for Community Life at Boston University.
