The Rev. Beatrice Jones, LC became a professed monastic with the Lindisfarne Community in 2013 and an ordained deacon in June 2015. She is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University earning a BA in English with emphasis on British literature. She also received teaching certification and has taught in several states. In addition, she has studied theology at The Lindisfarne School of Theology and Christian Leadership.
In March 2019, Dn. Beatrice retired from the field of education after serving in various teaching and administrative capacities at Madison Country Day School, Waunakee, Wisconsin for almost eighteen years. She has been active in Christian service for her entire adult life, serving as pastor's wife, teacher, women's ministry coordinator, youth leader, children's choir director, secretary, lay leader, and lector.
Dn. Beatrice is currently serving at St. Cuthbert's Chapel (a Priory of the Lindisfarne Community) in Madison, WI. She is married to the Rev. Prior Timothy Jones LC, and they have three children and four grandchildren. She thrives on reading voraciously, playing with poetic words, exploring Celtic spirituality and lore, holy stitching, and walking and meditating in nature.
